I’ve been very impressed with the Axwell Copper Wallet so far. The overall build quality is excellent, and it immediately feels like a premium product as soon as you pick it up. The materials used are clearly high quality, from the copper plates to the hardware and overall construction. Nothing feels flimsy or cheaply made.
The copper version is definitely heavier than other minimalist wallets, but in my opinion that actually adds to the experience. The added weight gives it a solid, substantial feel that reinforces the sense of durability and craftsmanship rather than being a downside. It feels like something built to last, not a disposable accessory.
Card access is smooth, the wallet holds everything securely, and it stays compact while still feeling sturdy. The finish on the copper looks great, and while it will naturally develop character over time, that’s part of what makes this version appealing.

This is my fifth Axwell wallet. I also, have the Nebula and black Damascus, Hyper Blue Carbon Fiber and the Copper wallets. Personally, I prefer the heavier ones, but if someone is looking for a light-weight wallet, I recommend purchasing the aluminum or carbon fiber wallets.
The Gold Damascus is a gorgeous wallet. It feels substantive and of sturdy build when I take it in my hand. I love the clean look without screws. I appreciate the wide thumb notch to push up my cards for easy extraction.
The cash strap is superior to that of Ridge. It is easy to insert cash and the cash is held in place by the serrated undersurface of the strap. I prefer using cash strap over a money clip. However, Axwell wallets come with both for the customer to choose whichever one they prefer.
I highly appreciate how easy it is to switch from cash strap to money clip and vice versa. No screw driver to remove and put back tiny screws!!
I love the customizability of Axwell wallets. One can mix and match plates to have a personalized unique wallet. Some plates are available to buy separately without having to buy another wallet. Hopefully the color, design and material options will continue to expand. Hope to see in the near future that the borders of each wallet match the color of the plates it comes with.
Overall, excellent build quality with attention to details, visually stunning, superior quality material, easy to use and modify the look, comfortable front-pocket carry, fantastic personalization options, amazing customer service, fairly priced, with life-time warranty— I guess that sums it up about Axwell wallets, including the Gold Damascus version.
Oh!! Almost forgot— the only problem I am facing is to switch back to using my Ridge wallets after carrying Axwell wallets for a few days!! And I totally blame Axwell for that🤠🤠

I love this wallet, the only thing, I don’t like is that there is no back strap to stop the card, when you put in the cards.

The reason you don’t see an elastic strap on the bottom of the Axwell Wallet is actually very intentional. We tested that design extensively early on and found that a bottom strap (like the one used by some competitors) over-compresses cards, which causes a few issues over time:
Cards become harder to remove
Edges and finishes get scratched
The wallet feels unnecessarily tight, especially as you add or remove cards
Instead, we redesigned the card retention system by:
Using elastic only where it’s needed
Adding a larger thumb slot for easier access
Eliminating the bottom strap entirely since it wasn’t contributing to security
The result is a wallet that holds cards securely without squeezing them. You can shake the wallet as hard as you want — the cards won’t fall out — but they’re still easy to fan and remove when you need them.
It’s a small design change, but it makes a huge difference in day-to-day use, and it’s one of the main reasons many customers switch over after struggling with tighter designs.

I like the items I really do.The color,style,and convenience. However while overlooking the clip that is optional instead of the strap I noticed one of them was a bit scuffed up. So as you see I was kind of disappointed. That's my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I really like it I had to get used to it. It was really weird at first, but I’m starting to like it. It won’t magnetically hold 12 cards. You have to have the cash strap and everything around it to hold it together but other than that, we’ll see if it protects my information thanks a lot for selling it to me.

Not sure if I was sent the jet black or gun metal grey.. this is my sixth wallet from axwell, I love their wallets, but this one came opened as if it were returned..
Had this thing for over 5 years as you can see it it's pretty wore out but still works I could easily get another three years of life out of it highly recommend this is the original model I don't know how the new one's hold up but this one's pretty good

This wallet is great! The weight of it was surprising but I like it; it creates a feeling of quality that I believe the wallet will live up to. The color and texture are also great but the cover plates are sensitive to sweat and oils from my hands that leads to discoloration. This is not permanent discoloration but looks odd when it occurs; like a hazy on the parts that I have touched. My biggest complaint is with the strength of the magnets that hold the cover plates on. I hesitated to purchase this wallet after watching a review that discussed this but one of the comments was from Axwell stating that they had addressed this issue. If I were to use the money clip or strap I would be much more upset about this as the plate holding either of those items in pops off very easily with very little pressure on those items. Luckily I have no need for the clip or strap so I just don’t have them installed.

We understand your concern about the sensitivity of the cover plates to sweat and oils from your hands. Please note that the wallet is PVD coated, which helps protect it from scratches. However, we suggest wiping the cover plates with a soft cloth to remove any fingerprints and make it look like new again.
